The North Mountain Region is quite possibly the premier area of Colorado. The northwest part of the region connects people to Rocky Mountain National Park with its point of entry at Grand Lake. To the far west portion resides Glenwood Springs with its world famous hot sulphur springs. The most fascinating aspect of the North Mountain Region is the abundance of activity all year round! This is where the majority of ski resorts are located and they’re all within reach of the Front Range. Furthermore, the high country makes a great getaway during the summer for camping, fishing, hiking, biking and water sports.
