Next Time Around's camping cove provides a hidden semi-secluded spot that is the perfect location for a quick weekend getaway or a long leisurely stay if you have the time. The campsite is located off Highway 65 on our privately owned 8.5 acres with a stream that runs down the west side of the property line that guests can access for their pleasure! In spite of a neighboring house visible through the trees on the other side of the stream and some traffic sounds, our camping cove retains its back to nature feeling campers enjoy. We provide the necessary amenities to facilitate camping which eliminates the need to spend a small fortune acquiring or gathering, packing, and dragging your own gear along. All you need to do is make your reservations today, grab your food, bedding, flashlights, and toilet paper and come enjoy. Now you are ready to create new memories or sit back to share old ones around a crackling campfire, ensuing no fire bans are in effect of course. There is also so much to do nearby to spend the day exploring! Within a 25 minute drive, you will find Sweitzer Lake State Park and Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area for some cool hiking trails, or head up to the mountains and experience many outdoor adventures in the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, & Gunnison National Forests. Conveniently we are near local entertainment such as area wineries, a drive-in theatre, and many places to eat in Delta, CO or Cedaredge, CO which are both under a 15-minute drive in either direction from our property. Carbon monoxide, smoke alarm, fire extinguishers, and first aid kit are onsite for your safety. - Leave no trace. One of the best parts of the property is its natural beauty and peacefulness. We like to keep it that way. Please tread lightly, pick up all trash and leave things how they were found. We operate our sites as self-service. This means no cleaning fees, however, guests are required to clean the rental campsite and remove their trash before checking out. What you pack in, you must pack out, including used toilet bags.-The campsite is gated access with parking (15yds) and potable water (100yds) a short easy walk to the campsite. Please note to always keep the entry gate closed when not actively entering or leaving the property. -We provide (2) 20lb propane tanks for our guests' convenience. It is the guests' responsibility to refill if needed.- Never leave fires, pets, or children unattended.- No parties, fireworks, or shooting guns, please.
