Peak One Campground is located on the Dillon Reservoir near the town of Frisco, offering an abundance of recreational activities. The reservoir is encircled by Swan Mountain and the dramatic Gore and Tenmile Ranges. This campground is an ideal setting for guests seeking recreation and relaxation. Due to the pine beetle infestation and removal of hazard trees, there is little or no shade in the campground.

From I-70, take Frisco exit 203. Travel south on Highway 9 to PeninsulaRecreation Area. Follow road approximately 2 miles to Peak OneCampground. Please note that the new entrance to the campground is one-eighthmile south of the Frisco Peninsula Area.

This facility is operated by White River Recreation, a division of California Land Management and your comments are appreciated; comment forms are available from campground hosts or on CLM's website . In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered as one vehicle for determining additional vehicle fees. The third and fourth motorcycle would also be considered as one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. Black bears are prevalent in the area and all food or other attractants must be properly stored.
